Andrew Macurak
Special Projects Coordinator
Andrew brings experience in strategic planning, technical writing, and project development to the Rhiza team. He uses these skills to build awareness of Rhiza’s mission and impact.
Prior to Rhiza, Andrew consulted on a variety of projects with a strategic planning firm serving public and nonprofit organizations. Before that, he worked in program design and market research for neighborhood and regional economic development agencies.
Andrew is pursuing a master’s degree in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Public Service from the University of Pittsburgh. In his spare time, he enjoys low-budget travel and wandering the city with his beagle.
